I am so glad you stopped by! I'm a born and raised Wisconsin girl. I grew up in Waunakee and now reside in a Madison suburb. I am a mama to a sweet brown-eyed, long-lashed, miracle boy named Anders. He was born at 24 weeks weighing 1 lb 15 oz and we had a very long three-month tumultuous NICU stay. But, he (and we) are all striving and thriving! He is my heart and my reason!

In case you wonder how I stumbled upon this photography passion which now is a second career, there were many journeys in my life that led me to this point. From losing my mother (my best friend) due to cancer at a young age, to my son’s grim NICU stay, to my first (and still current) profession as an Oncology Nurse all coupled with my extremely sentimental personality and a lifelong passion for art & creativity, it was only natural that I would find a love of photography.

I understand just how precious life is and just how very special memories are. I also understand how busy motherhood is, how quickly milestones pass us by and how we long to hold on to every precious memory of our babies and loved ones. Printed photos of my mother and I as well as images of my son (especially during those NICU months and all milestones that followed) are my most valuable and meaningful possessions.

My goal is to provide exceptional portrait-making services by taking care of every detail and allowing you to authentically engage with your children, creating meaningful experiences and memories. Memories that we then preserve and turn into beautiful artwork for your home for you and your family to admire and cherish for years to come.

Besides my nursing job or serving/photographing amazing families and babies, I love spending time with my little family, our Great Pyrenees named Olaf, boutique coffee shops, iced mochas, film cameras, traveling, trying cuisine, cooking, and spontaneous adventures. My son is my heart and I love my family. I love creating tangible memories and I love serving the beautiful and sentimental mothers whom I am so very lucky I get to document their most precious memories.
